Northwest Area Neighborhood Association

The mission of the Northwest Area Neighborhood Association is to provide for the safety and promotion of the neighborhood, combat deterioration and to beautify the near northwest area of Cedar Rapids. Incorporated in 1994, the association has helped their neighbors by mowing lawns, shoveling snow, and organizing neighborhood clean-ups. The current goal of the neighborhood is to survey its residents to determine how to best replace the community recreation center that was lost in the 2008 floods.
